  Jackson course. Fairway turf in excellent condition. Tee boxes generally good, as well. Bunkers pretty good, though some on the front side were not raked and a couple were thin on sand, with the bunker liner poking up from underneath. Greens in good shape but, as is typical with bent grass in NC in August, showing heat stress and with a lot of ball marks. Front nine was very slow, with what appeared to be a club-organized captain’s choice tournament, which concluded after 9 holes. Back nine much faster. Professional and courteous staff.
