Last time I played this course a few years ago it had gotten so bad I swore to never return. A buddy booked a time here and I was not looking forward to playing the Divide based on my past experiences. Boy was I wrong. The greens were absolutely FANTASTIC. They were not super fast but they rolled straight and true all day. Only 16th green had some patches but not really an issue. The course was in better condition than many other courses around that are charging way more. I was really surprised and glad to see this course is back on track. Always loved the layout. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and I am officially adding the Divide back into my rotation

  • The review says Tega Cay, but you mention The Divide 2 times in the review. Which course did you play?

  • @GinMillDJ – I think it was just a fat finger on the course selection. I updated the review to say The Divide.

  • Awesome. Thank you!

  • Played The Divide yesterday. Will mostly echo TheClaw’s review from Monday. I guess the course had gotten a good amount of rain on Thursday night. Bunkers were flooded and some fairways were squishy. For the most part the fairways are in great shape and the greens are good as well, with selected issues as mentioned. There were a few tee boxes that were bare. Some of the non-playing areas of the course could use attention, but based on ads on the carts, they are short on maintenance staff at present. The TopTracer range is coming along, and they are hoping to have it open in about a month or so.

Lots of clubs around town will do short game clinics (1-3 hours on one day) that are fairly inexpensive ($30-$100). Stonebridge is one course that offers this. I've taken the one with Fred Bond and got my money's worth out of it. These types of clinics are usually a good...
