This is the first time I’ve ever given a course a 5* rating. Everything is perfect from tee to green. Sand in bunkers was fluffy almost to point where I was wishing to end up in there. I just wish they didn’t have the Mini Verde greens, but looks like that is the only kinda grass that will hold up to this heat and golfer abuse (unfixed divots). They must be spending a lot of money keeping this course up to snuff and its paying off. $65 is still a bit too steep for a weekend round of golf but worth it if you care about course condition and quality of greens. I highly recommend this course.

Forgot to add that this course is very well marked. Distance markers every 25 yards made it very easy when you don’t have a golf GPS.

Just curious why you wish they didn’t have mini-verde greens? My experience at Springfield is that the greens are very firm and hard to hold – nice layout but makes it hard to score.
