2nd time playing Regent Park and the conditions were much better than my previous review. Construction still taking place on the range but the tee box area was well maintained as was everything else around the clubhouse. The tee boxes, fairway and sand traps were in very good conditions. The sand traps were some of the best I have seen all year. They were dry, raked and soft. The greens were beat up but there was a company tournament there before we played and they did not repair many marks. I’m not a grass expert but I believe the type of grass on the greens does not do well this time of the year. Emerald Lake looks like they have the same grass and their greens are in comparable shape to Regent Park. Golf Now deal for $15 plus the fact I broke 90 for the first time made this a great day of golf. Most of the course is 5 stars but greens are 3.
