Greens were in great shape, tee boxes were a little hairy and the fairways were a little thin in spots. Bunkers were awful but with the recent heavy rains I don’t think the course had much control over that. I’m giving 3.5 stars because of the amenities. The range was awful. Balls were dirty, scuffed or split. The range hitting area itself hasn’t been cut in days and your target area is a wasteland. Nothing to aim at and most of it looks as if they are doing some type of construction. Another big negative is that they have no water or beverages available on the course. They have the spots made but don’t take the time to put a cooler in there and they didn’t even have a beverage cart. 90 degrees and 60% humidity make for an awfully long day when you have to wait 9 holes to get a drink. You can find cheaper courses with just as nice conditions and better amenities all over Charlotte.
