Thanksgiving – was going to be a shotgun, but with literally <10 people playing, told to just go off the 1st. Playing single, catch a tractor blowing leaves on second green. Mind you - blowing leaves, NOT setting pins. Wait 5 minutes. 3rd green - same. 4th - same...you get the picture. The guy clearly saw me waiting, never pulled to the side to let me through. 9th green, he's at the back, I hit to the front, my ball about 15 feet from the pin. By the time I get up to the green, my ball is nowhere to be found! When I asked in the pro shop who has the right of way - a leaf blower or a golfer - was told it was the leaf blower. Won't be back for a while.

  • i wouldn’t go back at all. i worked at wild wing plantation back when they had 4 golf courses. guess what the golfer always has the right of way after the 1st tee time. why wasn’t the tractor blower going 18 down instead of 1 up (common sense, better yet poor course supervisor)

  • Yup, that explains why they had such a large turnout! Not sure who is more clueless as to why they are headed for BK Court….the Carolina Trail owners or “Mindy” and the gang at Regent Park. I’ll never forgive her for publicly berating a kind older gentleman who worked as a starter…his crime- parked his cart on the wrong dirt patch near what they were calling the practice tee. NO THANKS SISTER – you aren’t on Long Island anymore!

  • I completely agree with all of the above. I played there a few weeks ago and they loaded up the 1st tee with 3 groups even though it was at our tee time so we went to the 10th. On almost every hole, there was a guy mowing the tee boxes and was just following us. He wouldn’t stop while we were hitting and mind you this was late afternoon so why mow then? The course is just ehhh and I certainly will never return.
