I understand the comments. The fairways aren’t in great shape, but I didn’t feel like they affected play in a negative way, not enough to warrant a “Poor” conditions rating — especially in comparison to other local courses. My Dad’s in his mid-sixties and he appreciated the roll he was getting. If you’ve played a course recently with really lush fairways, let me know.
Played again today. They have aerated a few of the fairways in the last few days. So hopefully, they will green up for you.
I do with Bman as they are not poor condition. But they need to spend the $$$ on the teeing areas, for a nice track with good greens the T’s are the worst. Almost all of them are very uneven and have no grass. I play the back T’s and they are still terrible and sloped every which way. They could have easily sodded a couple of the T’s earlier this season and have them ready for play now or soon. And please get some range balls with some dimples on them!!
I know it’s your home course, B’Man, but I really thought the fairways affected play. Yes, many courses probably are still growing in, but 3 courses with lush fairways right now are Verdict Ridge, Eagle Chase, and Skybrook.
