8/21/11 - The Divide Golf Club "Never going back" Worst course I have ever played in terms of conditions! I have played over 200 courses as well. The greens were hands down the worst I have ever putted on. Fairways at a private clubs are miles better. Just basically dirt with weeds and bumpy dirt at that. I have never played here before and I was not expecting much. But after 4 holes I was ready to go in and get my money back. Why play when you have a 6 footer for birdie and have to get lucky to make it! My membership just ran out at Emerald Lake and I was thinking about this place instead and they could not let me play there for free. I would choose to pay to play elsewhere, that's how bad it is. STAY AWAY! Unless you want to waste your money. Read The Review
5/29/11 - Emerald Lake Golf Club "Worth playing" Course is getting better. Greens are softening up a bit as they were very firm 2 weeks ago. I think they are watering the course or the greens more now. T Boxes still need revamping and the range ball issues should be fixed soon. I heard they are getting new range balls this week. The things you usually never have to worry about at EL are the greens and bunkers. I always play late in the day so the pace of play is great 2 - 3 hours. Read The Review
9/6/10 - Emerald Lake Golf Club "Worth playing" Played on Labor Day and not a great day scoring wise but had fun. I joined Emerald Lake as B-Man did and I'm happy I did so for the value. Greens are getting there sand is pretty much gone and greens are rolling better. Still some ball marks on certain greens and crab grass which they should got out before aerating. People fix your ball marks please!! I fix my ballmark and the 2-4 others that are from the groups playing in front of me all the time. Fairways are great and Emerald lake has some of the best bunkers anywhere. I just wish they would replace the range balls as they are beat. Read The Review
