First time playing Eagle Chase – great golf course and challenging layout. Very hilly layout – felt like I was in the Ozarks in southern Missouri. Several elevated tees and greens with lots of variety. Par 5s are all fair and challenging and the course has a very good set of par 3s. Greens are firm (I think that’s just they way all Diamond Zoysia greens are), but were in great shape at a decent speed and rolled true. Tee boxes and fairways were both in very good shape. Holes 11-13 are super challenging and beautiful (par 5 over water, long par 3 with trouble left and right and a short par 4 where you drive over water with a tricky green waiting). All in all a very solid golf course that I will definitely play again. Weekday rate of $49 was very fair. Not much of a restaurant/snack bar if that’s important to you. Practice area is excellent.

Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
