First time playing Lancaster Golf Club. For $70 I was definitely hoping for more…

The greens were alright I suppose. Some were better than others. Most were infested with what looked like goose grass which led to Plinko on quite a few putts. Speeds were pretty average for public golf.

Pretty sure the guy cutting cups was either angry at the world or hungover. 2 cups were cut on severe slopes while others were tucked like it was Sunday on the PGA Tour. Definitely did not help with pace of play!

Tees and fairways were pretty good. I wasn’t in any bunkers but my playing partners were struggling getting out of them.

Decent old golf course. $70 is just way too much though. $40-$50 on the weekend in the afternoon seems more appropriate.
