Olde Sycamore is now one of the more dependable public courses for conditions and rates. It is a fun layout where you don't need driver off the tee very often and I've played it for over 2 decades. So it feels like an old friend when I get back here to play.
The greens...
course in great shape, greens well maintained, fairways nice, bunkers are just fine....is a bit of a drive unless you live that way but well worth it...if first time playing I suggest driving the cart up the fairway if you can't see everything as there are some hazards you can't see well off the tee...
Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
