I played here for the first time in 7-8 years probably. I had heard the course was really turning a corner, so I wanted to check it out. To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed with the course. The greens have just recently been punched, so they’re very bumpy. There were a few tee boxes that if I had been hitting iron, the ball would have been sitting down…not mowed recently. A few greens had some disease showing and one of the pins was right in the middle of it when there was a whole other corner of the green that was in good shape, so I’m not sure why you wouldn’t put the pin there. The bunkers were in pretty good shape and the sand looks fresh. The rough was a little unkept in places. The absolute worst thing though was I stopped to use the bathroom on the back at one of the on course bathrooms and it was so NASTY. There were spider webs everywhere, toilet paper all over the place, the top of the toilet was missing, etc. Luckily I only had to pee. I can live a little with places on the course being less than ideal, but the bathrooms were atrocious. While it may be better than it was, it’s pricey in my opinion for the course condition.
