A bit sad when okay conditions are a good thing, but things are definitely looking up. Greens quite good – a few bumpy patches – tee boxes good, traps raked and most with decent sand. Fairways were iffy – I know it is still early, but it is frustrating to be in the middle of the fairway and have a marginal lie (more than once). They still have a long way to go here – cart paths are very torn up in spots, traps need new sand, fairways need overseeding or something, probably need to switch to Bermuda greens. But still, it is a great layout and appears to be on the way back.

I played here today and an employee told me that Ratcliff Golf Services lost their contract with this course, not sure if they lost the contract with all the courses they manage . Troon Golf won the bidding.
