As previously noted, lots of marks on the greens. I think it’s where they are trying to get some type of weedy grass out of them. They were working on #3 while we played. Fairways OK, but thin in spots. Sandtrap I was in was low on sand and I skulled it out. Overall OK,

  • Best Sand Man in the Southern Piedmont!!!

  • I worked at Emerald Lake twice. Once around 13 years ago and again about 8 years ago. Sandtraps have always been on the bad side. I spent a lot of time pumping water out of them because of bad drainage. The superintendent is doing what he can with the greens. I talk to him quite regularly and trust me guys, he is doing what he can. Other peoples priorities are on other things besides the greens.
