Afraid the greens are starting to show ballmarks. Everyone blames people not fixing hallmarks, but I think it is just what happens to most bent greens in NC late summer, the reason most are switching to Bermuda. Also a lot of “weed-looking” grasses around the greens, not pretty and made bump and run shots tricky. Teeboxes pretty hewed up also. Fairways, traps good. Rough was punishing but fair.

working at wild wing plantation in myrtle beach a long time ago we would use a longer hand held version of a ball mark repair tool “before” we mowed the greens. it would prevent the mower from scalping the grass of a ball mark and close the mark the right way without pulling the grass up. too bad when I see these mowers out nowadays they pull up to green and just mow. they were bent greens as well
