Once again i’m not sure if some golfers are just dumb or stupid. I played out at emerald lake snd the tees were great along with the fwys and rough. The course is super clean of weeds unlike alot of the courses that are sim ilsr to emerald lake. The greens overall were in god shape. There are a couple that they are working on from the past year due to crabgrass but you have to give it time. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
sodman, your first sentence states “Once again i’m not sure if some golfers are just dumb or stupid”. In your next sentence, you spelt “and” wrong…
I guess there is a difference between dumb and stupid. lol. Anyway the great thing about this web site is we can all read each others post and get a feel for each other judgments. Some people might think Im over critical at times, some might think Im right on the money, thats their call. In your post you talked about other courses but yet on this web site all you ever post about is Emerald Lake. What this makes you look like is someone who actually doesnt play other courses that much. If you dont play other courses that much then how can you have a good judgment for how a course would rate compared to the competition. What this also makes you look like is an Emerald Lake employee trying to boost your ratings. Im mean look, here you are again with another rating on Emerald Lake not a week after your last one. Your giving Emerald Lake a rating like Red Bridge gets and right now Emerald Lake couldnt touch Red Bridge with a stick. For that matter, under current conditions, I would golf the Divide before I would Emerald Lake. Im not bias against Emerald Lake, on my profile page it happens to be one of my top 5 picks. Right now though its greens conditions are as bad as Ive ever seen. Just remember on this web site you can gain or lose credablilty with your fellow posters with what you post. Right now your looking like a Emerald Lake employee that only golfs at Emerald Lake trying to keep your ratings on this site higher then they should be.
But, then you spelled “spelt” wrong……may want to check your own spelling before pointing out someone else’s Just sayin’
In American English, spelt primarily refers to the hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe, and the verb spell makes spelled in the past tense and as a past participle. In all other main varieties of English, spelt and spelled both work as the past tense and past participle of spell, at least where spell means to form words letter by letter or (with out) to make clear. Outside the U.S., the two forms are interchangeable in these senses, and both are commonly used.
YoMama111, my roots are British my friend. However, thanks for pointing that out, in future I will use “spelled”. When in Rome…
