One of my favorite courses. Fairways, tees and greens overall in very good shape. There is some crabgrass poking up on some greens which they will need to get working on, but may be afraid to kill now due to the heat. Teed off at 3PM and finished at 5:15 and was slowed by one group who wouldn’t let me through for two holes. Hosted the Marshall U. Athletic Booster Club golf outing there the next day. They do a wonderful job with outings at the best rates in the area. Head pro TJ Congleton just left Emerald Lake about a week or two ago…Not sure where he went.

Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
