  Played the front 9 at Emerald Lake. Haven’t played here in a couple years and it is in a lot better shape than I remember. Their bunker project has been a success at least on the front 9. Sand was soft and consistent. Fairways were in good shape, greens rolled true and were quick. I know there have been concerns about the staff in the past, but I had no issues. Nice practice area. Looked like a lot of people were finishing up as I started, so an afternoon round may be the best choice.
