After my negative review from January, I owe it to the course to post an update. I played Charles T. Myers on 4-16-2026 based on a recommendation from a friend who played there the week before. I am glad to report that the Poa Anna infestation is gone. The greens were rolling good. They are much better than they were in January, but many greens still have bad patches from the damage done in a previous year when they were allowed to cook in 90+ degrees temperatures without being watered. No holes were set in the bad areas. When you consider the cost, CT Myers GC is a decent value for the money. The layout is golfer-friendly and the overall condition of the course is good. The bunkers have been rebuilt in the past 2 years and are better than many courses costing much more to ply. The fairways are in decent shape for this time of year. The tee boxes are okay. The staff is as friendly and helpful as you will find anywhere. Don’t expect greatness from this course, but it’s fun to play, and a good value.

Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
