Poor value. Fairways in good shape, with a few isolated spots, but able to play the ball down. Greens generally in good shape, with a lot of unrepaired ball marks. Speeds were consistent. Tee boxes are beat up. Bunkers not raked. Pace of play was just under 5 hours, with a marshal monitoring but not enforcing pace of play (two holes open ahead of group in front of us). Olde Sycamore has a nice layout, and if it were a $60 or even a $75 course, then this review would be different. But when I pay $100, I expect, at a minimum, raked bunkers. Kinda screams that you’re not trying very hard, right?
