Only my 2nd round at this course, but both times I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the condition the course is in. Fairways in great shape and the greens rolled true. Tee boxes are the only thing that need some love as they look to have had a lot of play. Fun/attackable...
Not a good sign that Skybrook is changing management companies again so soon. With this and CGL sudden closing, I wonder if this is an indication of instability at Billy Casper Golf, or were the situations at those two courses so untenable that BCG made the decision to get out while they were still ahead.
CGL closed because the landowner wants to redevelop the land. Casper was hired by the receiver and the new owner probably just elected to hire a different manager.
