Course was in OK shape given the amount of rain we have gotten. Several areas with drainage/moisture problems. A few tee boxes were aerated and sanded. Bunkers were solid and greens were in better shape than typical at this course and rolled decent.

10/14/17 - Rocky River Golf Club "Great course" All I can says is that this place is in great shape as it always seems to be. The price is a little more than I like to spend but it was worth it. Greens are always fast and true. I still don't like the bunker because of stones in some of them but other then that I would always recommend playing here. Read The Review
10/13/17 - Birkdale Golf Club "Never going back" Six years later and this place is still in bad shape. I wish the would get a real management company in hear to fix the place. Nothing is worse than hit a ball on the first green about ten feet away and when you walk up on green you see that there is no way you can make the putt because of clumps of crabgrass and bear spots in your line. It also looked as if the just cut the rough because the clippings were everywhere and we lost two balls under it. I said six years ago it was crap and I would not be back and I should have stayed away. Read The Review
6/24/11 - Verdict Ridge Golf & Country Club "Best of the best" This is one of the nicest course I have played anywhere. Greens are always great. I have never been disappointed when I play here. Read The Review
7/3/11 - Edgewater Golf Club "Great course" What a wonderful layout! If this course was 30miles closer to charlotte it would be a top ten. The fairways were a little thin but the greens were perfect except for the pitch marks left by lazy people. They also had water coolers with bottles of water about every three holes. They only hole I didn't like was the 231 yard par three on the back. Read The Review
6/11/11 - Birkdale Golf Club "Never going back" This could be the best course in Charlotte if the greens were not always in bad shape.I have played here more then I should because it's close to home but they will not get another dime of my money as long as the greens stay so bad. The rest of the place is great and it has one of the best clubhouse bars in NC. So until they learn how to keep the greens in good shape I will go to fox den or highland creek. Read The Review
