- "Great course"
Played this on a whim as my earlier tee time finished up very quickly. Thought I would only play 9 but the course was pretty empty which allowed me to race through. This course was amazing but it is a bit a of a drive. The front 9 eases you into the round with some scoreable par 4's and 5's. The par 3 were very challenging for me as I am new to the game and dont have the yardage for 170+ par 3s. I actually ended up doing a hybrid tee round on the back 9, playing the navy for par 4's and 5's and white tees for the par 3's.
Lots of elevation changes keep you guessing and make you think of your next shot.
Course was in great shape as I imagine it looks pretty new. will definitely be back! Read The Review

- "Worth playing"
Played a solo during a weekday and it was pretty empty which I loved. overall the course was in great shape, particularly the front 9. Some greens had some burn marks on the edges but overall nothing to complain about. The only real complaint was hole 12 was going thru some fairway repair so it went from a 350 yard par 4 (from white tees) to a 60 yard par 3. no warning about it from the club house or anything. will return once course is fully back Read The Review

The more difficult one of the 2 major Ratcliffe courses in my opinion. Fairways and greens had no major issues. A couple of greens could have used a cut but other than that, no complaints. Hole one is by far the most difficult on course. Recommend getting some warm up or stretching in before hand. Lots of elevation changes throughout the course so either club up or club down appropriately. Some of the cart paths are in need of some love but other than that very happy with overall experience. Cooler was taken on course with no issue Read The Review

I really enjoyed the layout. As a new golf who started this summer, the wide open fairways were welcoming. A very long par 3 (hole 17) from white tees (170 yards) was very challenging. Some shorter score-able par 4s are mixed in that help newbies stay in it mentally. Pace was very good and we had our own cooler with no issue. Will be back Read The Review
