- "Worth playing"
 The course was in really good condition. Greens were excellent, albeit hard due to the winter temperature. A few of the sand traps needed some attention as were still suffering from the previous day's rain. All in all the course was really good for a January round. Pace of play wasn't bad at all even though we were stacked up a bit due to the frost delay. And no one chooses which course to play based on the cart paths, but holy cow are those paths in bad shape - make sure your bags are strapped in tight!
Would I go back, for sure. The layout is fun, with some very challenging holes, but not so hard that even a mid/high handicap can't enjoy a round.
The price of a round has really increased, presumably since the addition of the covered TopTracer technology bays recently added. Those were definitely cool, but you'd think for the price they're charging for range balls (you can use the tracer technology for no additional charge when you get a bucket of practice balls, though only half of the bays have the tech installed currently) would more than cover their recent tech spend.. - "Best of the best"
 First time playing Olde Sycamore, and I think I have a new local favorite. The course itself was perfect, sans the marks on the greens the idiots in front of us were leaving. "Repairs yours and one other" everyone... Otherwise, the fairways were in great shape, the rough cut as should be, beyond the rough kept clear in case you need to retrieve an errant shot or two. and the green were FAST! Thought the course layout was great. The cart we had was also in great shape.. lots of power and quiet electric. The staff was welcoming and very professional. Practice facilities was also in good shape and offered plenty of space for everyone. All in all, I cannot wait to get back out to Olde Sycamore. Read The Review

- "Great course"
 First time playing the course. Really enjoyed it. Free access to range balls during pre-round warmup was nice.. wish other courses would follow suite. Cart, while didn't have GPS, seemed fairly new and had plenty of power. Pro Shop guys were super nice and helpful to a first time visitor. Locker room was very nice. If I lived closer, would contemplate a membership here. Only complaint was they had just sanded the greens, so coupled with the early morning dew, it was a bit messy out there. Having said that, can't wait to go back to play those rolling fairways! Read The Review

- "Worth playing"
 We teed off at 2pm on a Monday afternoon. There were very few other golfers on the course, so we played at a relaxed pace. The course was in OK shape. Yes, there were some problem areas and some of the greens had a bit of weed infestation, but it's a public course. If you're expecting Charlotte Country Club type conditions, you've set yourself up to be disappointed. To me, it was as good as most public courses in the area. Of course some are much better - Skybrook, Verdict Ridge, but there are plenty that are worse. So for my $46, I feel it was worth the drive down I-77. Read The Review
