Olde Sycamore is now one of the more dependable public courses for conditions and rates. It is a fun layout where you don't need driver off the tee very often and I've played it for over 2 decades. So it feels like an old friend when I get back here to play.
The greens...
Great course for the price. Played from the backs so the cours is fairly long at 7200 yards but the tee boxes were great as well as the greens rolled true. I will def be back because you can not beat $29 after 2 pm on weekends
Course is in wonderful shape as always. greens are the best in the area and i would say this is currently the best public golf you will get anywhere near here. Only thing is waiting on fairways to come in but other than that wonderful.
Course in good shape considering all the money issues in the past few years. Greens are a little spotty but roll great. For the price and that beautiful layout I'll definitely be back soon.
Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
