"Great course"

10/20/26: Review by B-Man

Olde Sycamore is now one of the more dependable public courses for conditions and rates. It is a fun layout where you don't need driver off the tee very often and I've played it for over 2 decades. So it feels like an old friend when I get back here to play. The greens...

Course was in great conditions, browned as expected. Came up on a twosome and threesome that let me play through. Other than that, smooth sailing. Played through in 2:45. Greens overall were great, a few still show the aeration from about a month and a half back, rolled great. Go play here, it's worth the round.

Course was in excellent condition as always. Only problem today was the pace of play. Lots of singles out and many foursomes. This hampered pace to sometimes waiting 20+ minutes from the tee boxes, but since the click-it deal, it was worth the wait for $40 @ a great course.

The greens are starting to show some significant signs of ball marking. Other than that, bunkers good, fairways a little inconsistent in length, but overall it is in great condition.

Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
