8/6/12 - Carolina Lakes Golf Club "Great course" Def worth the drive if you live in charlotte.. greens were top dressed a little but were rolling true and were cut to a perfect length rolling great. Tee to green this place is a gem and I'm glad I gave it a chance and got a great deal on clickit.got to play through some members with me and my buddy and shot tied career best round 74 40 34 which made it even better Read The Review
8/7/12 - Charles T. Myers Golf Club "Bad, stay away" This place is a dog track.. greens were rolling about a 1 and you get no feel.. Yes they look in good condition but you have to blast it so being in ok condition you still have 3 putt possibility 10 foot and out. They are tearing up the fairway on hole 6? and its a bunch of rock hard dirt so dont know what they are doing there. This place has always been a ok course but after playing here today I would not pay 10 bucks what a shit hole.. Bare spots everywhere in fairway and rough it's just terrible Read The Review
8/14/12 - Skybrook Golf Club "Below average" I've only gave one other review on a course and I have to say this one will be just as bad. A little information I work at olde sycamore so get to play other great courses in the area but was wary to play a carolina trail course after all the bad publicity and recent reviews of their courses but got a hookup through someone and it was 20.. Lets see greens were atrocious on front nine and on greens on back they had fresh sod on some but for the most part it was good on back with only ball mark issues with the greens being so soft. Now on the rough.. wow I think they cut it once every 2 weeks out here and dont blow it at all.. almost lost 5 balls just walking around the rough it either sits way down or sits up 3 inches.. weeds growing everywhere this course has gone way down hill and apparently my friend who I played with who works at highland creek said this was a lot better then highland creek so I guess if you play a carolina trail course do not expect much.. but hey only 2nd time playing and it was $20 so I guess it wasnt bad for me Read The Review
3/19/12 - Rocky River Golf Club "Below average" I like the layout of this course and a good majority of the holes but after that it's all downhill. Hopefully when they get new greens this place will be better because now these greens are atrocious. They had 3 different type of grass growing on them I think one of them was weeds and they were rock hard nothing will stick on them. Such a shame, stay away from this course til around September when the new greens will hopefully be done. Read The Review
