Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation
"Great course"

Olde Sycamore is now one of the more dependable public courses for conditions and rates. It is a fun layout where you don't need driver off the tee very often and I've played it for over 2 decades. So it feels like an old friend when I get back here to play. The greens...
I’ve been working with PGA Professional David Knox at Homestretch Golf since 2020, promoting their paperless pre-round pari-mutuels and wagering software for clubs and recreational golfers alike.
Homestretch Golf launched in 2019 as the golf industry’s first paperless pre-round wagering solution allowing club members and guests to view LIVE odds to win and save their wagers right from their phones. The experience for the participants vastly improved and became interactive, all while saving tournament organizers hours of painful data entry and stress from calculating payouts. In 2020, over 6,000 members and guests used Homestretch Golf’s mobile pre-round prediction solution to safely save wagers from their own devices during the global pandemic.
Check out these highlights of the platform:
- Eliminates error-prone data entry
- Eliminates the requirement for in-person wagering (Enjoy our PAPERLESS platform remotely from any internet-connected device)
- Allows you to open betting earlier
- Provides live odds to win, place or show in real-time
- Delivers automatic receipts
- Easy-to-use payment tracking for admins
- Delivers automatic winning notifications
- Expedites post-round payouts in minutes
- Creative uses for predictions, not just limited to traditional pari-mutuels
- Built-in charitable fundraising through the Homestretch Golf company pledge
As an ambassador for Homestretch Golf, I can help you get up and running with it for your tournament. Just send me a note! Or you can contact David at Homestretch Golf directly and mention my name.

Noticed this course on this site and curious if anyone has played it yet? Mooresville is pretty close and with lower rates for seniors even on weekends and typical course conditions will be hard to beat.
