I am not sure if the rain Saturday had something to do with it but we teed off at 7:55 AM on Sunday and I was really impressed. Greens were really soft. Forget ball marks I was leaving craters. Also the fairways were very soft. Taking a divot with an iron was like a hot knife through butter. I didn’t know how much I missed these two things since everywhere I go seems to have rock hard fairways and/or greens. Tee boxes were good although a couple were hard. The greens were normal speed and rolled smoothly. Again I am not sure if the rain played a huge factor because we weren’t cart path only and it wasn’t that wet but either way I was really impressed overall.
