Located off US 74 West in Kings Mountain about an hour from Charlotte, Woodbridge Golf Links opened in 1976 and was designed by Bob Toski. The course is set in the shadows of Kings Mountain, alongside the banks of the glistening John H. Moss Lake and framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. It closed for 5 years but re-opened in the Fall of 2019 with brand new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.
Single, senior and family memberships are available.
I have not played Woodbridge but after hearing good reviews since its reopening, I've added it to the site and to my must play list.

Complete 180 from when I played back in May. Greens were in much much better shape than when I played in may. Pace of play was great.
Read The ReviewThis is a country track, Everything is straightforward and simple and an OK golf experience. The greens were actually in decent shape and I liked the well marked tee boxes, they were large and well maintained. As a Senior you can take advantage of some really good tee box placement on many holes. Several holes over water but with the Senior tee's takes the water out of play, Just too many blind shots for me. Tee box sitting low and maybe 200 yards to the top of the hill where you can't see beyond it. Most all the Par 3's are long and have low tee boxes with shots up hill. I played with a group of Senior Veterans so it was a memorable day for this AF Vet.
Read The ReviewOnly played 9 holes and took a rain check for the back nine. Course is in horrible shape. Greens are bumpy and have dead spots all over them. But made an eagle on #6. My son shot a 37 and I shot a 39. Only reason I’ll be going back is to take advantage of my rain check.
