Greens nice but super firm. Fairways: some good. some a bit tight and dry. tee boxes were rough. don't expect any turf-tees here. Was an enjoyable, albeit SLOW round.

6/7/14 - Skybrook Golf Club "Below average" Hadn't played here in a few years but based on some of the reviews I've seen I thought I'd give it a another try. It's pretty obvious that the course has seen some major neglect but it's also clear that the new Mgt. team is working on it. Everything was "just ok" except the greens which are truly horrible... patchy, bumpy, & basically unputtable. They are candidates for a Bermuda make over SOON. Bottom line: if you can play here for under $40 then go for it otherwise... not so much. Read The Review
9/22/12 - Tega Cay Golf Club "Worth playing" First time back here since they re-did the greens and they are a huge improvement. Overall the course is in pretty good shape but has always felt very confining (squeezed into too little area) to me hence the 3.5. Read The Review

8/18/12 - Glen Oaks Golf Club "Worth playing" First time at Glen Oaks and my score showed it... :) Course is on pretty good shape. Tees, traps, fairways good. Greens not bad considering a lot of ball mark damage. Recommended! Read The Review
8/12/12 - Lancaster Golf Club "Worth playing" I like this track a lot (enough to drive 75 miles to play it) so based on a previous review I decided it was time to make the trek. Course was in good shape. Some bare spots here and there but nothing outrageous. New greens are nice although slowish & HARD in spots. Bunkers had not been drug so very hard & wet but otherwise fine. Good people, good price, good course. Check it out. Read The Review
4/15/12 - Emerald Lake Golf Club "Average" Turf was exceptionally thin... great for roll on drives but not so great for anything else. There also seemed to be a slight up bevel around all the cups which made putting difficult (kinda goofy golf); must've pulled them all up ever so slightly when they pulled the plug for the cup. 2/11/12 - Regent Park Golf Club "Below average" I wanted to check this off the list and it's an interesting layout but OMG... What a goat ranch. Avoid this one. (topped off the round by waiting 15 mins for a Hot Dog... a Hot Dog, not exactly complicated... And it was cold) 1.5 stars is probably being generous. Read The Review
