Played Stonebridge this morning before all the rain we’re supposed to get this week. NOTE: They punched the front nine, so only the back nine is open and you are playing it twice. I imagine that they’ll do the same to the back nine at some point in the next couple of weeks. The course was in great shape. Fairways have greened up nicely. Teeboxes were a little beat up in spots, but nothing terrible. Greens were in fantastic shape and rolled really, really well. I didn’t hit into any bunkers, so I can’t comment on those, other than to say they looked fine.

  • Shoot, I just played the back nine yesterday. Was thinking about getting back to play the full 18. Guess I should wait a few weeks. I wonder why they are just aerating now. Most courses with Bentgrass do it in March and September.

  • Just played on Monday 5/25. Front 9 greens are pretty much healed up. I would imagine the back 9 will be good once we dry out from these next 3 days of rain. Course is in great shape and for the $ it is a great value.
