4 Stars, shocker I know but I might have gone 3.5 but had to give an extra .5 just because of how bad Highland Creek was a year ago and where it is now. I was almost shocked. Tee to Green I would say 4to4.5. We played it down and never got a lie to complain about (3 players). The fairways are nearly perfect, all the bunkers are rebuilt and excellent except 2 still under construction and almost finished. the rough is pretty consistent and there are a few areas of bad spots, not many and a few weeds here and there but nothing terrible. The greens rolled fantastic yet the only bad part of the course still is maybe 5 or 6 greens have some bare dirt spots on the edge of the green. The greens are maybe a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 due to the bad spots but 95% was beautiful bent that rolled great. These are bent greens in summer after all. Obviously the pens don’t go in those areas. All 3 of us are very experienced players and we all liked it and said we would play there any time. Tee to green and the views were beautiful actually. Oh yea, cart paths are better, new signage and tee markers and the course was well marked.
