I was the high bidder for a foursome at Charlotte Golf Links. It was very inexpensive ($39 total on a Sunday!)

The problem was the weather. Even thought half the course was underwater and it was foggy and 45 degrees it was open, so we had to play.

I noticed that they tend to auction each weekend tee time twice. Once around Tuesday and then again (if it did not sell on Tuesday) around Friday. Since the Charlotte weathermen are so bad it might be worth waiting until the later auction.
