We just came back from our annual trip and there are 2 courses north of Myrtle Beach of note that you should try to play. Rivers Edge (Shallote, NC) is an Arnold Palmer course that is always spectacular shape. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s well worth it. (about $140 in the morning)
The second course is in Little River SC, Eagle Nest. For the price this may be your best value and experience. The greens were immaculate! The rest of the course was in very good shape. It’s about $85 for a morning round.
It’s been a few years but I enjoyed my round at the Links at Brick Landing nearby in Ocean Isle too.
Thanks for the post! One of these days, I’ll expand so you guys can review all the courses in the Carolinas.
