Some of you may know I have a bit of history with Olde Sycamore. Nevertheless, I have to give the course its due. Greens, fairways, bunkers, tee boxes, rough - absolutely perfect. Add a great pace of play (played through one foursome with our threesome) and a nice senior rate, and you can't beat it. They are getting pricey again with a $69 rack rate on the weekend, but they are also one of the few courses that offer a senior rate ($56) on the weekend. Like many course with bent greens, they may get beat up toward the end of summer - I would play now while conditions are perfect

Wulfpack at 5/3/12 7:16am – Good to hear, Dr. Schteeve. Olde Sycamore is my favorite course in the area, my "home course" so to speak. I've always enjoyed my rounds there for the most part, and I do think the course is superior to most in the area. Plus, it's only about a 20 minute drive for me out to the Syc. I do wish they'd come down a little on the green fees, but you get what you pay for. I hope to get out there soon.

Anyone been out to Red Bridge lately? Heard they about lost their greens a while back?
